And this is in June when I got it straighten for the first time In a long time….

After I took my weave out I tried the natural look. I liked it!! This was back in June 2010 
FYI. All I did for this look was was condition and a curling activator a leave in condition

Wore my hair in weave for about 3 months… Yes this hair was in my hair for 3 months lol

My hair means a whole lot to me. I’ve been going natural for 1 year and 9 months now and boy I tell you it’s been a journey. I’ve always believed that I had “good hair”. I mean it’s not like the indians or anything but to be mostly back (African American) oh yea, I have good hair. Almost 2 February’s ago I decided I was done with perms. I wanted my hair to get back to its naturals roots. After seeing “Good Hair” the documentary by Chris Rock I knew it was the right thing to do. I love who I am and I want to express it with my hair. I am a beauty black woman! And I will embrace it!

I will post some pics and videos of my hair journey. By the summer I plan to have long natural hair.. With many different styles and all. Now even though I claim to be “natural” I still probably will put weave (sew in)in my hair every now and again!!!

So sit back and see all the things I will come up with. :-)
